Tim and I took a walk this morning along the canal near our house.
It is finally cool enough to get out in the morning without sweating a gallon or more.
Along the canal are some interesting things. While we live in the middle of the suburbs, Gilbert, AZ used to be a farming community. And there are parts of town that remain very much farmlike. We live in a standard subdivision neighborhood, but right next to our neighborhood is a subdivision that we call around here; horse property. That means that each lot is large enough to accomodate farm animal life.
And we see interesting things like lots and lots of chickens and roosters crowing. And horses, cows, and even a llama or two!
And what farming area would not be complete without an old VW bus parked out in back?
