Years ago Brandon took piano lessons. He took them for a couple of years from one piano teacher, then that piano teacher decided to stop teaching. So we found him a new piano teacher but progress was slow and he lost interest. He learned the basics of piano but was getting to be at an age where the battle was being lost. He was not interested in the practice and discipline required to be a proficient pianist.
But something new is happening these days. The piano is being revived. And we have a new piano teacher. This one is electronic. Brandon finds tutorials on YouTube for songs HE wants to play, and through his I Touch, he learns these songs.
Now our house is filled with piano music again, Brandon style. And Millie lays right next to him. I think she really likes his choice in music!
