Those Silly Boys!

Before leaving on their church missions, these boys had big plans. I mean BIG plans. These plans included restoring this old bus/ark to usable condition and selling it for a gazillion dollars to fund their missions. It was only going to cost them $50 to buy it! (" I mean, Mom, it is probably worth thousands and this guy is going to sell it to us for only $50!!)
They never considered the cost of storage, repairs to the engine, repairs to the actual living quarters..............the list goes on endlessly. Then they would need a buyer! And this would need to be a very unique buyer!
But, in spite of the imposing job, they still wanted to go ahead with it. But their source of funding denied them loan approval (AKA Mom and Dad) and so they had to leave this dream behind.
Being the creative guys that they are, they came up with a new plan. A Christmas card plan. So they found this old snowman in the trash and brought it to our house and took pictures with it, dressed as, well, I am not sure what, but nevertheless, they took pictures. With fake mustaches and costumes and funny faces. They never got these cards made as they got their mission calls and were on to bigger and more important things in their lives. Still, these boys live in the moment and enjoy everything they think about doing at that given time. And that is what makes them fun, and funny!
Now Cameron is in Jacksonville, Florida, Gabe is in Concepcion, Chile and soon Taylor will be heading to Birmingham, England. Each has their own new assignments, separately, and yet they will all have a common purpose as they serve the Lord wherever they are.

Visit YouTube.com and search "Perpetual Silence". This is a video made by several of these guys!
