This has allowed him to be successful in many things in his life from athletics to attaining a full academic scholarship to ASU.
As time has passed, he has learned what his passions are and some things he has continued to pursue while other things he has abandoned for newer, better things.
In the past year, he has developed a talent and liking for Olympic Weightlifting. He works hard at this sport, practicing and progressing each day to improve and grow. He has done really well and recently attended a Junior National competition in San Francisco. And he took 7th in the country for his weight group. And has been ranked in the top 40 across all the weight classes in his age group of 19 and below.

But now he will be leaving that behind for the next two years as he pursues what the Lord wants him to pursue; being a full-time missionary in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He will experience blessings, trials, joys, and sorrows. He will grow and become stronger in mind and spirit as he develops new talents much in the same way his dedication to weightlifting helped him be physically stronger each day. His journey will begin in June and I think maybe he will find this his biggest pursuit yet!

YAY for the mission! I did laugh at the first picture that said BRANDON COX UNATTACHED! Hahahaha...good thing since I am pretty sure that is a mission requirement! ;)
